WINNERS OF THE OUTSTANDING 2014 BULLDOG AWARDS PROGRAMS ANNOUNCED

Oakland, Calif. - (NewMediaWire) - March 10, 2015 -  Sixty-seven winners of the 2014 Bulldog Digital/Social PR Awards, nine 2014 Bulldog Higher Education PR Awards and six 2014 Bulldog Hospital PR Awards all recognizing excellence in their respective PR fields, were announced today by Bulldog Reporter, a leader in PR media intelligence. 

Winners were chosen from hundreds of entries representing the very best strategic and tactical prowess that PR corporate communications has to offer. Campaigns were judged exclusively by working journalists, who assessed them on the basis of their ability to achieve extraordinary visibility and influence opinion, as well as on creativity, command of media and technology and tenacity.

The 2014 Grand Prize for Digital/Social Communications Campaign of the Year was awarded to JCPenney with Evolution Bureau, PMK·BNC and Victors & Spoils for their entry titled JCPenney Supports the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) which was awarded three Gold awards in the following categories; Best Digital/Social Word of Mouth Campaign, Best Use of Digital/Social for Cause/Advocacy/Corporate Social Responsibility and Digital/Social Communications Campaign of the Year.  They also won Silver in the Digital/Social award category for Best Use of Video in a Digital/Social Environment category with the same submission.

In the Higher Education PR program, RF Binder Partners garnered two Gold awards in both the Best Institution Positioning/Branding category for their submission NYU Stern School of Business: Higher Education in the Global and Digital Age and Best Campaign $10,001-$25,000 category for EdX Seeks to Educate the World (for Free).

In the Hospital PR Awards program, NYU Langone Medical Center took home Gold awards in the Best Special Event/Stunt category with Langone Celebrates Hurricane Babies and Hospital Communicator of the Year category for Lisa Greiuer and Edelman won Gold in the Best Use of the Internet/Digital Tools category with their submission American Heart Association’s Hands-Only CPR Campaign.

The 2015 Bulldog Awards are now open in both the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Media Relations programs. Early Bird pricing is currently available for both programs until March 18 and April 1 respectively. Applicants are welcome to submit now and pay later in order to take advantage of this lower rate.
