21YrOld Award-Winning Author Garners Celebrity Endorsement

LOS ANGELES, CA - (NewMediaWire) - January 20, 2015 - At only 17 years of age and while still attending high school at Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, CT,  RJ Tolson began posting chapters to his Chaos Chronicles Book 1: Zephyr The West Wind, an action and adventure filled extravaganza of superheroes, mythology, magical realism and paranormal power and creatures, to Wattpad.com, a YouTube equivalent for writers. Tolson's Wattpad fan base grew rapidly to many thousands and unbeknownst to Tolson, London's Universal Kingdom Print Publishing Group was amongst his loyal followers. So much so that in less than a year Universal Kingdom Print signed the 18-year-old Whittier College freshman to a five book Chaos Chronicles Series with Zephyr The West Wind the first in the installment.

Within a year of signing with Universal Kingdom Print, Zephyr The West Wind earned RJ Tolson a Finalist Award in the 2013 Beverly Hills Book Awards and National Indie Excellence Book Awards. At that same time and only 19-years-old, Tolson launched a National Literacy Campaign. Traveling from New England to Florida and across the West, RJ Tolson urged middle and high schoolers to forge new paths, excel chiefly through the skills of reading and writing, and participate in community and charity service. Tolson's impressive literacy campaign garnered an endorsement from the likes of Emmy and Tony Award-Winning actress and Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee, Cicely Tyson. In fact, last spring RJ Tolson was a featured guest at the Cicely Tyson Community School of Performing & Fine Arts, in East Orange, N.J. Tolson's commitment and passion to inspiring young Americans to 'Be Limitless' and think globally resounded throughout his visit. Cicely Tyson School Educational Media Specialist and Certified Public Librarian, Lora Tazewell, commented "I was particularly impressed when he [RJ Tolson] discussed the importance in our students preparing themselves to live in a global world and to think beyond the walls of East Orange, NJ."

Now with nearly half a million online fan club, Limitless Fan Club, close to 60,000 Twitter followers, thousands of Facebook Likes, and guest appearances on NBC Universal Telemundo national and international morning television show, “Un Nuevo Dia“, and CBSNBCFOX and ABC affiliates, this young American and Whittier College senior continues not only his efforts to inspire young Americans but expand his science fiction and fantasy genre ventures. Upon the recent release of his Zephyr The West Wind illustration edition, Zephyr The West Wind Illustration Book: The Art of the Chaos Chronicles, Volume 1, Tolson shared "I've received countless emails from fans telling me how much they could relate to Zephyr and his struggles and asking if the story could be done in an illustration and graphic novel version. Staying connected to my fans and honoring their requests when possible is important to me." Suffice it to say, True Life, the first in a new manga adaptation series of Zephyr the West Wind, titled Legends of Tye, is due for release this spring.

While meeting fans' expectations is front and center for any conscientious author, exceeding them isn't always. Tolson, a gifted lyricist and composer, did what few award-winning science fiction and fantasy genre novelists have and composed an Amazon best-selling soundtrack, Zephyr The West Wind Original Book Soundtrack. Tolson's soundtrack upon release reached a high of #11 in Amazon 'Best-Selling New and Future Releases' and #29 in Amazon 'Best Seller Soundtracks’.

Tolson cites legendary composer, conductor and pianist, John Williams, and his award-winning compositions to such films as the Star Wars series, Superman and the first three Harry Potter films as catalysts. "I recall visits each summer as a little boy to Tanglewood in Lenox, MA with my grandparents to see John Williams conduct the Boston Symphony Orchestra" comments Tolson "My grandmother was originally from Gt. Barrington, which is near Lenox, so whenever we visited one of her favorite things was to see John Williams and the Boston Symphony perform. Those performances and amazing compositions, particularly the Star Wars series, left a lasting impression and inspired me to compose."

Compose RJ Tolson did and directly after his first semester at Whittier College interviewed with the Boston Symphony for a composers summer internship. The interviewing process entailed not only Tolson’s composing a piece but a solo guitar performance of his composition before John Williams and other judges. Much to Tolson's delight he received a score of 10 from Williams, with 10 being the highest possible score. The impact of John Williams' iconic work is evident in Zephyr The West Wind Original Soundtrack, for which Tolson's touching and award-winning coming of age science fiction and fantasy book, Zephyr The West Wind, provided a splendid canvas.
